Glenn Farley, guitarist and vocalist, joined the Kate White Band at it's inception in 2003.  He learned to play folk guitar "from a hippie lady in a VW bus" in Eugene, Oregon, 1973.  Early music influences were Buck Owens, Chet Atkinss and Jerry Reed, and later on James Taylor and the Eagles.  Glenn  played guitar at church backing his mother's country gospel vocals or leading worship in the local youth group.  He has a BA in ministries from Boise Bible College, and a Master of Divinity from Lincoln Christian Seminary.  He enjoys assisting new church plants with worship leader training and musiican development.  He and Scott work with middle school students in  the "School of Rock" worship training ministry.  Glenn has six guitars but only one wife.  They celebrate 25 years of marriage this year.

Scott Minter plays mandolin, mandola, octave mandolin and the Irish Tenor Banjo.  He has been with the band since we started and either finds or writes the different fiddle tunes and celtic instrumentals that we play.  Scott has studied Bluegrass, Celtic & Old Time Mandolin with George Chudacoff of Vancouver, WA for 4 years.  He has been active in the New Heights Worship Ministry for 10 years and works with Glenn leading the "School of Rock" middle school worship training group.  Scott's day job is Tech. Sales Site Manager at Kemira Chemicals (paper industry).  He is married to the lovely Lisa who cooks amazing meals for every rehearsal!  They have four children:   Aaron, Devan, Lucas and Samantha.

Robert Switzer, our djembe and percussion player, is the newest member of our band!  He grew up in Los Angeles  and has played the drums since he was 10.   He is SINGLE!  Robert  moved to Portland, Or in 2004 and loves the environment and people of the Northwest.   He has toured professionially as a drummer and percussionist with several artists and bands (listed below)  and is the promoter for the "Spirit On the Mountain" Christian Festival held annually on Mt.  Roger Shenk, guitarist and vocalist, plays with us 8-10 times a year for our bigger events, tours and festivals.  A member of the Kate White Band since 2005, Roger cut his teeth on bluegrass and toured extensively for 5 years with his brother and their band.  He went on to sharpen them on the new wave, pop-punk and progressive rock of the 80’s. Currently, Roger is a full-time Worship Pastor with Eastridge Church in Clackamas, OR.  He’s been leading worship there since the church started in 1994, and has served on their Pastoral Staff  since 1998. In sharing about his musical transition, Roger says, “I had a profound spiritual awakening in early 1992 that led me to drop the “pro musician” gig I was pursuing, and to move toward investing my life in ministry. I’ve since found that leading worship is a natural fit for my music and songwriting crafts, but even more so, it fulfills my heart for helping other people encounter and worship Jesus as Lord of their lives.”  Roger is married to Wendy and they have two boys, a girl and an adult foster / adopted daughter
