My purpose is to know Christ with all my heart and to be fully known by Him. To seek Him daily with an open heart in worship, growth, silence and accountability that my life would demonstrate an outpouring of His healing love and rest for the weary; and a deep sense of hope and acceptance to a lost and hurting world.
As an expression of this purpose, and because I am called to serve as a songwriter, concert artist, worship leader, speaker and violinist, it is my prayer and passion that God would use me and the Kate White Band in the following three ways:
1. To bring rest, refreshment and a reprieve to ministry leaders, that they might be able to receive from God that which they so tirelessly pour out to others. Having been in full-time ministry for many years, I know first-hand what a blessing this can be.
2. To bring the message in song and testimony that God is at work in both the good and hard times of life. I am not afraid to speak honestly to the questions of life that we carry – and through honesty and tenderness, seek to bring truth, wisdom, laughter and hope to people’s hearts and lives.
3. Knowing that God can use us, even in our darkest times, set’s us free to reach out beyond our circumstances with a missional heart toward our neighbors, our community and to the world.
