My purpose is to know Christ with all my heart and to be fully known by Him. To seek Him daily with an open heart in worship, growth and accountability, that my life would demonstrate an outpouring of His healing love and acceptance to a lost and hurting world.
As an expression of this purpose, and because I am called first to my husband and family, I commit to:
Respect, support, love and cherish my husband with all that I am. To build him up, that he would have the confidence to follow God’s dream; to embrace his passions that he might move ahead without looking back, knowing that I will follow him wherever he goes. I pray that we will face life head on, hand-in-hand, whatever comes and never shy away from the risks God calls us to take as we walk in faith to serve Him.
To my children, Nathan, Jacob and Bethany:
It is my prayer that God would use me to help you discover the Father heart of God. To play with you, encourage you, pray with you, to be there in times of joy or sorrow, to really listen to you and know your heart, your longings and your dreams. I pray that God would enable me to see the world through your eyes, that I might understand you better and know how to give you the guidance, discipline, direction and protection you will need in the years to come.
Finally, it is my prayer and passion that God would use me through music and songwriting, healing prayer and other tools I’ve developed to set people free from their past that they might experience lasting forgiveness and know the Father’s healing touch. I pray that God would use me to communicate to the world that healing is not an end in itself, but a calling in preparation for His Bride to become all it can be. That we would help establish vibrant, healthy, unpretentious churches, with real, confident, humble leaders, who know how to laugh and cry, to weep with others, rejoice in the victories and stand together in the fight for the expansion of God’s Kingdom.
